Portico
Florence is not as famous for its porticos (arcades) as Bologna, but they certainly feature prominently in some of the city's architecture.
I climbed onto a wall to allow me to compose the tunnel of arches at eye level. My elevated viewpoint also allowed me to exclude the hordes of tourists walking along the riverside portico.
