Cervus elaphus - I came across this young deer whilst climbing Stac Pollaidh in Scotland's north-west Highlands. My camera was buried in my rucksack due to the foul weather, but as the deer seemed to be as interested in me as I was in it, I managed to slowly retrieve my SLR. I had a wide angle fitted, but as he was so close it gave me the opportunity to photograph him in his environment.
