Lagopus lagopus scoticus - A sudden cold snap inspired me to go out to photograph red grouse at Derwent Edge. The brown plummage of the grouse meant they stuck out like sore thumbs. An incoming blizzard put paid to my day's photography with both the grouse & myself hunkering down to keep warm.
